Responsibility
- Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment that fosters infant development and physical well-being.
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that stimulate cognitive, motor, and social-emotional growth.
- Maintain consistent and open communication with parents regarding their child's daily progress, milestones, and health.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations set by early childhood authorities.
- Observe and document infants’ developmental progress through systematic assessment and anecdotal records.
- Prepare and maintain classroom resources and learning materials to ensure an engaging environment.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to uphold the center’s high standards of quality care.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care (CIT) or Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC).
- Passionate about working with infants and toddlers and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with a deep understanding of infant developmental needs.
- Prior experience in a preschool or infant care setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional training and development programs.
