Responsibility
- Assist engineers in designing and optimizing production floor layouts for maximum workflow efficiency.
- Conduct time studies and motion analysis to identify bottlenecks and implement productivity improvements.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and factory layout drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production line issues and technical setup challenges.
- Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles within the production environment.
- Prepare reports and data analysis on production performance metrics for management review.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and calibration of production equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar layout design software is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, material flow, and time-motion study techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational improvements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.
