Responsibility
- Analyze current warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks using data-driven methodologies.
- Design and implement optimized workflows, layout improvements, and automation solutions to enhance productivity.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to streamline inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Conduct time-and-motion studies to optimize labor utilization and reduce operational costs.
- Lead training programs to ensure staff adherence to standardized processes and safety protocols.
- Utilize CAD software and simulation tools to model warehouse layouts and material handling systems.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on process improvements and ROI analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or process engineering.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and process simulation tools.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams at all levels.
- Certification in Industrial Engineering (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
