Responsibility
- Develop and maintain capacity planning models for materials processing, staffing, space, and equipment.
- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Design and optimize layout plans for warehouses and distribution centers.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve workforce productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in capacity planning tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
