Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain production line operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to enhance production workflows.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
- Document production data, including output metrics, defects, and process deviations, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff or operators to improve overall team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in using production monitoring tools, ERP systems, or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA) or quality (e.g., ISO 9001) are advantageous.
