As an IQC Engineer, youâll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our quality assurance processes. Responsibility
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IQC procedures, checklists, and documentation to streamline quality control processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Perform statistical analysis on quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement in the supply chain.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of quality checks into the workflow.
- Conduct regular audits of incoming materials and maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, and resolutions.
- Train and mentor junior quality control staff to uphold company standards and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and emerging trends in quality control technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in incoming quality control, quality assurance, or a similar role within manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, teams, and management.
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance is a plus.
