Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality metrics, test results, and inspection reports.
- Monitor and improve product quality by applying statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with local and international quality regulations and certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control tools.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams across departments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality inspection equipment and software.
