Excelitas Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA) Inspector for a project-based role in Badung, Bali. Responsibility
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and products against established quality standards and specifications.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and deviations using standardized reporting tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional testing using calibrated measurement tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, industry-specific, and company quality management system (QMS) requirements.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring quality defects and propose process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test data, and supplier performance metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Incoming Inspection, or a related role in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including sampling plans (AQL), GD&T, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and quality management software.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) for reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
