Responsibility
- Audit daily revenue streams, including room charges, F&B sales, and casino transactions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with accounting and operational teams.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review, highlighting trends and anomalies.
- Conduct internal audits of departmental revenues, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Verify the accuracy of point-of-sale (POS) systems, night audit reports, and bank deposits.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and financial statement preparation.
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance financial controls and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management; CPA or CIA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or local financial regulations relevant to hospitality.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog) are advantageous.
