Responsibility
- Conduct daily audits of all hotel revenue streams, including room charges, F&B sales, and other ancillary services to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile night audit reports, POS systems, and general ledger entries to verify financial data integrity.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in transactions, and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Collaborate with front office, F&B, and accounting teams to resolve billing disputes and improve revenue controls.
- Monitor and analyze revenue trends, highlighting opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Maintain confidential and secure handling of all financial records and guest information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in income auditing, night audit, or financial control within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Micros), accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high-volume transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and hospitality-specific financial practices is advantageous.
