Responsibility
- Provide exceptional, attentive, and personalized service to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, and make recommendations based on their preferences and dietary requirements.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and modifications are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve dishes and beverages with precision, adhering to established service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Anticipate guest needs proactively, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and fellow front-of-house staff to maintain smooth operations during peak service hours.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and manage billing with integrity and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment, including setting tables, restocking supplies, and adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or fine-dining establishment (experience in Bali or international hospitality is a plus).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian, French) is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, wine service, and cocktail preparation is a bonus.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the role.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (for foreign applicants).
