Responsibility
- Develop, plan, and execute a comprehensive calendar of recreational activities, sports events, and social gatherings tailored to diverse guest demographics.
- Coordinate with vendors, instructors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality equipment, facilities, and services for all activities.
- Oversee the scheduling, staffing, and logistics of club operations, including team sports, fitness classes, and special events.
- Monitor participation levels and guest feedback to continuously refine and improve activity offerings.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for all club and event-related initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of activity coordinators and support staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, local regulations, and resort policies for all organized activities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and activities through digital and in-resort channels.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating organized team sports, recreation clubs, or social event planning, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Proven track record of managing multi-faceted programs with a focus on guest or customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative and engaging activity concepts.
- Proficiency in budget management, vendor negotiations, and contract administration.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Sports Science, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
