Responsibility
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Drive sales growth through effective upselling, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
- Monitor and control operational costs, including inventory, labor, and supplies, to maximize profitability.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain high performance standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain seamless communication and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations to uphold a safe and clean work environment.
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in driving sales, managing costs, and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
