Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices.
- Maintain and update security documentation, including incident reports and response playbooks.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and forensic tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and analysis.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
