Responsibility
- Develop and execute inbound logistics plans to ensure timely delivery of raw materials for feed production.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Procurement teams to align material requirements with production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing working capital.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, lead times, and delivery terms.
- Implement demand forecasting models to anticipate material needs and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for all incoming raw materials.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively and propose mitigation strategies.
- Generate reports on inbound logistics performance, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inbound planning, procurement, or supply chain coordination, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and demand planning techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Just-in-Time (JIT) principles is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
