Responsibility

  • Oversee and verify all import documentation before and after shipments arrive to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end EXIM (Export-Import) activities, including preparation, processing, licensing, and customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective import operations.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or discrepancies to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to optimize import processes and reduce costs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on import activities, including shipment status, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import-related documents and transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in import operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
