Responsibility
- Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including customs declarations and permits.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and inventory updates.
- Liaise with internal teams (procurement, warehouse) to align import schedules with production needs.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian import regulations and company policies.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.
- Generate reports on import activities and cost analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations.
- Familiarity with Indonesian customs procedures and trade regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of steel/manufacturing industry is a plus.
