Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the importation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import processes.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international import regulations and standards.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the import process.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and update internal systems accordingly.
- Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to optimize import strategies and reduce costs.
- Provide regular reports on import activities, challenges, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in import operations, customs clearance, or a similar role.
