Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import process, ensuring timely and compliant shipments.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Track shipments and resolve any delays or discrepancies with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and report on key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize import procedures and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on changes in import laws and advise management on potential impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian import regulations and international trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in the manufacturing or transportation industry is a plus.
