Responsibility

  • Source, evaluate, and onboard international vendors to meet company procurement needs, ensuring compliance with quality and cost standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for imported goods and services.
  • Manage the end-to-end import process, including customs documentation, shipping logistics, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, and logistics) to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels using ERP or procurement software.
  • Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on import operations.
  • Proven track record in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
