Responsibility

  • Manage and process import permit applications, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and review customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, logistics, legal) to align import strategies with business objectives.
  • Resolve discrepancies or delays in permit approvals by proactively engaging with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export coordination, customs compliance, or trade facilitation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian import regulations, tariff classifications, and customs procedures.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply trade laws, free trade agreements, and regulatory frameworks.
