Responsibility
- Process and coordinate import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure compliance and timely clearance.
- Monitor and track inbound shipments, resolving delays or discrepancies proactively.
- Prepare and verify cargo manifests, packing lists, and import permits for accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of import transactions, duties, and taxes in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in cost analysis and reporting for import operations to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline warehouse and inventory management for imported goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding import status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum O-Levels or equivalent educational qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in airfreight or import operations (preferably in logistics or freight forwarding).
- Familiarity with customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance in Indonesia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data entry tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Cargo Agent General (CAG) or related logistics qualifications is a plus.
