Responsibility
- Safely operate and maintain company lorries for the transportation of goods across Bali.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of cargo while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to prevent accidents and violations.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, delays, or incidents promptly to the management team.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lorry or heavy vehicle driver, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of Bali’s roads, traffic regulations, and delivery routes (familiarity with Badung region is a plus).
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
- Basic English communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as part of the hiring process.
