Responsibility
- Prepare, review, and verify all import-export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with Indonesian customs regulations.
- Manage and process PIB (Pemberitahuan Impor Barang) submissions and other required customs declarations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
- Monitor and track shipment statuses, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any customs-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international trade laws, tariffs, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, finance, and logistics) to align import-export activities with business objectives.
- Resolve discrepancies in documentation or customs assessments to avoid delays or penalties.
- Generate reports on import-export activities, including costs, duties, and compliance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import-export operations, customs clearance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, PIB processes, and trade compliance.
- Proficiency in using customs software and ERP systems (e.g., INSW, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping documentation is a plus.
