Responsibility
- Oversee import/export operations, including airfreight and freight forwarding.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing training and performance oversight.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor market trends and adjust logistics strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in import/export logistics or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
