Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods within the warehouse to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and traffic flow, utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on best practices for traffic control and safety.
- Generate reports on warehouse activities, traffic flow, and any incidents or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, traffic control, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
