Responsibility
- Prepare, verify, and process all import-related documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, including customs laws and import/export policies.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping agents, and internal departments to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of all import documentation and update internal databases accordingly.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues in documentation to prevent delays or additional costs.
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to import activities and logistics performance.
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import documentation, freight forwarding, or customs clearance.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Proficient in using logistics software, ERP systems, or customs clearance platforms.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
