The Malaysian Institute of Art is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is pivotal in supporting the Deputy CEO and ensuring smooth daily operations through efficient administrative and clerical assistance.

Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Deputy CEO, including managing schedules, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinate and organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior management.
- Maintain and update filing systems, databases, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications, memos, and documents as required.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, expense reports, and financial documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
