Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and rigorous IGCSE Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, and Geography lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and collaboration.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and parent-teacher conferences to support holistic student development.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends, resources, and Cambridge curriculum updates.
- Uphold the schoolâs values, policies, and safeguarding standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Education, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, or a related field (Masterâs degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with experience in the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in international schools or similar settings.
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, and Geography at the IGCSE level.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with the ability to teach in an ESL environment.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms to enhance student engagement.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
