Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective IGCSE Accounting lessons in accordance with the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and educational materials tailored to secondary students.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s accounting program and align it with global educational standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Prepare students for IGCSE examinations by conducting mock tests, revisions, and one-on-one tutoring sessions.
- Utilize modern teaching aids, including digital tools and interactive resources, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with specialization in Accounting or Business Studies.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably with the IGCSE curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, bookkeeping, and business finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with digital teaching platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom) and educational software.
