Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with the preschool curriculum and developmental goals.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs and activities.
- Foster social and emotional development through interactive play, storytelling, and group activities.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing their concerns and updating them on their child's development.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with best practices.
- Ensure the classroom and materials are well-organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification or qualification (e.g., L1/L2 teaching certification).
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Creative, patient, and passionate about working with young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
