Responsibility
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in critical care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the relevant nursing board.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in operating medical equipment and administering treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions in emergency situations.
