Responsibility
- Operate and monitor industrial ice production equipment, including compressors, condensers, and freezing systems
- Maintain daily production logs and record operational data for quality control and efficiency tracking
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on ice plant machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor and adjust refrigeration systems to maintain proper temperature and pressure levels
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and occupational health standards in the workplace
- Conduct quality checks on produced ice to verify purity, clarity, and proper sizing
- Assist in inventory management of raw materials and production supplies
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ice plant operations, refrigeration systems, or industrial manufacturing
- Technical certification or vocational training in refrigeration, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operational procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Physical stamina to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, cold temperatures, and standing for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required
