Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing facilities to identify and address potential hygiene risks.
- Develop and implement hygiene protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Train and educate staff on best practices for hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
- Monitor and maintain hygiene equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address hygiene-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document and report hygiene-related incidents, trends, and improvements to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in hygiene and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hygiene, sanitation, or food safety roles within the manufacturing or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential hygiene risks.
- Effective communication and training skills to educate staff on hygiene protocols.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hygiene monitoring tools and equipment.
- Certification in food safety or hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
