Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant data.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
