Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory records and documentation.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, using manual or mechanical equipment as required.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one (training may be provided).
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
- Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory systems, and communication tools.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as operational needs arise.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous but not required.
