Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of industrial commodities and raw materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and documentation to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement strategies and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
