Responsibility
- Develop and implement hygiene policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Train and educate staff on hygiene best practices, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
- Monitor and maintain records of hygiene inspections, corrective actions, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and management teams to address hygiene-related concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Investigate and resolve hygiene-related incidents or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of hygiene equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hygiene management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local and international hygiene regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and training skills to educate staff at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
