Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to maintain uninterrupted guest comfort and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with the engineering and housekeeping teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate service logs and inventory records for all HVAC equipment and replacement parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local regulations for HVAC operations in hospitality settings.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and conduct training sessions on best practices for HVAC maintenance.
Qualifications
- Certification in HVAC/R (e.g., EPA 608, NATE, or equivalent) with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial or hospitality HVAC systems.
- Proven expertise in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing split systems, VRF units, chillers, and ductwork.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, refrigeration cycles, and control systems (e.g., PLC, BMS).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for HVAC installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills for guest and team interactions.
- Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws and safety standards is a plus.
