Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Replace or repair defective components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and thermostatic controls.
- Document all service and repair work, including parts used, labor time, and system performance metrics.
- Collaborate with facility managers to assess HVAC/R needs and recommend energy-efficient upgrades.
- Adhere to local and international refrigeration regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants (e.g., R-410A, R-134a).
- Provide emergency repair services to minimize downtime in critical food storage and processing areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician, preferably in food processing, cold storage, or commercial facilities.
- Certification in refrigeration handling (e.g., EPA 608 or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and refrigeration cycles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software for HVAC/R systems.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined or high-temperature environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel within Badung and surrounding areas as needed.
