As part of our team, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize district cooling and chiller systems to ensure peak performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. With a competitive salary package up to IDR 45,000,000 per month, plus a 3-month performance bonus and night shift allowances, this role offers both financial rewards and professional growth in the booming HVAC industry.
Ideal for technically skilled professionals with experience in chiller plants, district cooling networks, or large-scale ACMV systems, this position requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in rotating shifts (4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off).
Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chiller units, cooling towers, pumps, and ACMV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and adjust district cooling system parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates) to maintain efficiency and compliance with standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults in HVAC equipment using specialized tools and diagnostic software.
- Conduct routine inspections of piping, valves, heat exchangers, and control panels to identify wear, leaks, or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade or retrofit existing systems for improved energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Document all maintenance activities, system performance metrics, and repair logs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtime in critical cooling infrastructure.
- Adhere to safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space entry) and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC, ACMV, or district cooling systems, with hands-on expertise in chiller plants (centrifugal, screw, or absorption types).
- Certification in refrigeration handling (e.g., EPA 608, F-Gas) or equivalent local qualifications (preferred).
- Proficiency in reading P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and BMS (Building Management System) interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of cooling load calculations, psychrometrics, and energy optimization techniques.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts (including night shifts) and respond to on-call emergencies.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with Indonesian HVAC regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
