Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all HR operational activities, including payroll, benefits administration, and attendance management.
- Implement and maintain robust HR policies and procedures in compliance with Malaysian Labour Law and internal standards.
- Drive talent acquisition strategies for retail and corporate positions to ensure high-quality recruitment outcomes.
- Manage employee relations and conflict resolution to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Supervise performance management processes, including KPIs, annual appraisals, and succession planning.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and training programs to enhance employee retention and morale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel preferred).
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
