Responsibility
- Partner with hotel department heads to understand business needs and develop tailored HR solutions that enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to ensure the hotel attracts and retains high-caliber talent.
- Design and implement performance management systems, including goal-setting, appraisals, and career development plans, to drive employee productivity and satisfaction.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with Sumi Hotelās values.
- Oversee compliance with local labor laws, hotel policies, and industry standards, ensuring a fair and legally sound work environment.
- Develop and deliver training programs to upskill staff, with a focus on service excellence, leadership, and cultural competency.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Champion employee well-being initiatives, including health programs, work-life balance policies, and recognition schemes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Masterās degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or HRBP role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and HR best practices, with experience in a multicultural workplace.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust at all organizational levels.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly advantageous.
- Tech-savvy with experience in HRIS, ATS, or other HR software; familiarity with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
