Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on vessels to ensure compliance with international and company HSE standards.
- Monitor and oversee hot work activities, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance workplace safety.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with vessel crews and management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and readily available for emergency use.
- Stay updated with the latest HSE regulations and best practices, applying them to company operations.
- Assist in emergency response planning and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE coordination, preferably in the maritime or offshore industry.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of international HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISM, ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with personnel.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within Bali and occasionally offshore.
