As an HR Business Partner, you will be embedded within the Research Cluster, providing end-to-end HR support. You will collaborate closely with faculty members, researchers, and administrative leadership to drive talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development initiatives. Responsibility
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the i3/i4 Research Cluster, providing expert advice on HR policies, practices, and workflows.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top-tier research and administrative talent.
- Oversee performance management cycles, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and career development goals.
- Facilitate employee relations matters, providing conflict resolution and disciplinary guidance in compliance with labor laws.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to leadership to inform strategic workforce planning.
- Coordinate with central HR departments to implement university-wide compensation, benefits, and talent management initiatives.
- Support organizational design projects and change management efforts to optimize cluster productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an academic or research-intensive environment.
- Strong understanding of Singapore labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and data analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and collaborative work culture.
