Responsibility

  • Assist the HR Manager in overseeing daily operations, including recruitment, payroll, and employee benefits administration.
  • Implement and monitor HR policies, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian labor laws and industrial regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from talent sourcing and interviewing to onboarding of new hires.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance procedures, and disciplinary matters with a focus on fair resolution.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and prepare analytical HR reports for management review.
  • Support performance management cycles, including appraisals, promotions, and succession planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and relevant industrial relations laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
