Based in the vibrant region of Badung, Bali, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our product offerings align with market trends, customer preferences, and business objectives. Your expertise in procurement, vendor management, and category analysis will drive the success of our houseware division, contributing to the growth of one of Indonesia’s leading retail companies.
This is a contract-based opportunity offering a competitive salary range of IDR 3.5M – 5M per month, along with the chance to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your contributions directly impact business performance.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for houseware categories, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors to maintain a diverse and high-quality product portfolio.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective and competitive deals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product selections with promotional strategies and customer demand.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize product mix and purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, ethical sourcing, and company policies in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, buying, or category management, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in Excel or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of houseware products, market trends, and consumer behavior in Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is a plus.
