Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and service agreements.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors, conducting thorough market research and supplier assessments.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts.
- Streamline procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with budgetary constraints and business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
