Responsibility
- Monitor and inspect cleaning and maintenance work performed by vendors to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits of RTS stations, depot areas, and facilities to identify and resolve cleanliness or maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to address urgent hygiene or operational concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
- Support 24/7 operations by ensuring all areas are presentable, safe, and fully functional for passengers and staff.
- Implement and enforce housekeeping best practices, including waste management and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in emergency response situations, such as spills or hazards, to minimize disruptions.
- Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff on proper techniques and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Housekeeping, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in housekeeping, janitorial services, or facility maintenance, preferably in a high-traffic public or transit environment.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and address issues proactively.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with vendors, staff, and management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with OSHA or local health/safety regulations is a plus.
