Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain impeccable cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, top-tier service.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring cost-effective usage and timely restocking.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and quick resolution of any issues.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation protocols in compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.
- Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping performance, occupancy rates, and supply usage for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as best practices in housekeeping operations.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
